These are samples of the book layou and cover designs I created for two fiction novels by Elesa Diane Willies, The Dragon's Firebird: An African Legend (2016) and its sequel The Dawn's Heart: Love Returns (2017).

We kept the same layout design for both books for the sake of continuity and made only slight alterations to the second cover to account for the dimensions of the painting. The painting for the first book was done by SJ Quigg (Shirley Willies), and the painting for the second book was done by Elesa herself.
